- Upper Earnings Limit (UEL): KES 108,000 (was 72,000)
- Contribution rate: 6% employee + 6% employer
- Maximum monthly contribution: KES 12,960 total (KES 6,480 each) (was 8,640 total)
Compliance reminders
- Due date: 15th of the following month
- Contributions are split equally between employer and employee
- For salaries above KES 108,000, contribution is capped at KES 12,960 (total)
- Tier II can be remitted to alternative approved pension schemes
Employee share (50% of total NSSF)
